John Lobb Harrods pop-up space
Event: John Lobb – Harrods Pop-Up
Client: John Lobb
We worked with British Bootmaker John Lobb to create a pop-up space in Harrods as part of the store’s ‘menswear takeover’.
The space had a simple sartorial feel featuring rich colours, with natural elements inspired by the Cornish countryside where Lobb was born, designed by 1205.
Bespoke freestanding frames finished in black powder coated steel were built as a centrepiece for the room, which had black display boxes and a glass lid with shoes laid on real moss. We created walling to enclose the space, including a simple painted white wall with an inlaid mirror and glass display case, and a brick effect area with the John Lobb logo made from brushed steel and applied to the wall.
We clad existing shelves with vinyl to create a grey granite look, which were used to display the shoes, with more handmade glass lidded boxes creating height in some areas.
