Jimmy Choo Press Launch
Event: Jimmy Choo Press Launch
Venue: The Ivy
Client: Polar Black
We worked with Polar Black to construct and install set pieces for a celebration of the collaboration of Jimmy Choo and renowned artist Rafael Mantesso.
Every element of the illustrated set designed by Polar took inspiration from Rafael’s black and white canine artwork.
We created a 3D illustrated ‘flower stall’ step & repeat wall which featured hand painted, wooden black and white flowers sat in hundreds of white pots on a black and white flower stand. We also clad plinths with the illustrations, to showcase the products which were situated on white illustrated parquet flooring for the indoor element of the event.
For the entrance to the garden, we built a giant Jimmy Choo archway inspired by gates into a stately home, again reflecting the artist’s concepts. This then lead to the centrepiece- an illustrated doggy bar made from timber, installed to cover the Ivy fountain, with silver dog bowls inlaid.
The DJ booth was also built in timber and clad with the illustrations, as was a dress up box for props to accompany the printed photo booth backdrop.
The installation was to be completed in an hour- and in real True Staging style, we did it!
