We played a central role in the design, engineering and delivery of key imaginative, large-scale festive environments. Four projects were designed and built in the True Staging facility combining robust construction with high-finish theatrical scenic delivery – ensuring design intent and storytelling were brought to life.

Our team partnered closely with Lapland through the design‑assist phase, shaping scenic elements such as facades, fireplaces, decorative finishes, and storytelling features.

We worked with the LaplandUK creative teams to translate design intent into practical, buildable solutions that balanced authenticity with functionality and supported modular construction for efficient transport and installation.

A core part of the immersive journey where ‘Small Folk’ join elves to make toys is ‘The factory’ – a large-scale environment with workbenches, suspended rotating toys, cogs, and a working conveyor belt system.

20 woodland cabins (designed as authentic homes in a winter forest) were built in house by True Staging with robust timber and reclaimed materials, for the Manchester portal. Interiors featured versatile scenic finishes all hand crafted in house by our team.

A brand-new winter light trail constructed for the Manchester portal, from durable marine ply structures with creative scenic finishes, it delivers a surreal, immersive experience that expands the festive narrative.

At Ascot, temporary structures were integrated into the natural woodland setting, while Manchester offered a controlled indoor environment for the Reindeer Stables. Both designed as peaceful resting places for Father Christmas’s reindeer, complete with a traditional sleigh mounted on a ramp.
