10+ Years of Cannes
For over 10 years True have been planning, designing and constructing pavilions at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity, supporting activations for some of the world’s most recognizable brands including Spotify, Yahoo, and X (formerly Twitter).
We have developed an innovative new rafting system for building on the beach, to ensure a solid, level foundation for the subfloor that allows for enough ballast to withstand the strong coastal winds.
True Staging deliver the construction designs and EPFC, utilizing their international supply partners as required.

Most recently we worked alongside brand experience agency CheerfulTwentyFirst to deliver set and scenic for Stagwell’s SPORT BEACH, a bold and empowering activation designed and delivered through play.
- A purpose built 400sqm space perfect for playing sports and entertaining on the beachin Cannes
- The court had the same bounce as a professional basketball court
- Fabricated steel box sections with steel handrails fan area
- Presentation stage with 5.5m tall truss

We supported Amplify’s vibrant and unique design for the Tubi Cabana, delivering a standout façade – drenched in the recognisable Tubi Purple and incorporating a wavy design for a contrasting laid-back but impactful vibe.
Our team supported the internal tent fit out and terrace build, complimenting the on-brand exterior.

Working alongside Amplify we brought to life their creative concept and vision for Motel Yahoo. The True team constructed the impressive two storey beacon complete with decking and bars, to deliver a nostalgic, retro and refreshing beachfront retreat.
