True Staging worked with ES Global from October 2023 as design consultants, through to construction delivery in Japan for the Osaka World Expo 2025.
For over 18 months, we collaborated with partners including WOO architects and Immersive International, providing scenic expertise, structural consultation, and set construction for key elements of the UK and USA Pavilions.
We also worked alongside local suppliers in Osaka, to promote sustainable practices in the region.

UK Pavilion.
The UK pavilion interior was design engineered and built by True Staging across 6 unique exhibition spaces.
The immersive experience features a 30-tonne pedestrian ramp, engineered and constructed by our team at True, that guided over 1 million visitors through the “Come Build the Future” exhibition – showcasing the UK on the world stage.
Immersive discovery.
USA Pavilion.
The USA Pavilion invited visitors on an immersive discovery of American history and iconic landmarks, attributing America’s leadership in technology, space exploration, education, culture, and entrepreneurship.
Our team helped shape the USA Pavilion working with ES Global and the exceptional partners to deliver the exterior facade.
- ESG appointed True to produce the exterior cladding on the US Pavillion
- 4,000 sqm of Douglas Fir timber cladding were constructed at True HQ
- All shipped in custom stillages to Japan
- True project managed the install overseeing a local workforce
