Event: Rudimental 2015 World Tour Venue: The set was made with travel in mind. The tour included venues such as Glastonbury, Lovebox Festival and Wembley as well as other UK and European venues Client: Pinnacle Productions
We worked closely with set and lighting designer, Johnny Gaskil of Pinacle Productions, to produce a large touring stage set for the Rudimental 2015 World Tour.
Gordon Taylor and Luke Preston worked to construct the set and assist the touring team with the initial installations. The whole design was based on a London scene.
We produced an overground railway bridge that needed to break down quickly and efficiently to allow the set to be transported from venue to venue. The design team were also briefed to allow the set to be reduced in height and width to accommodate differing stage sizes both in the UK and abroad, while maintaining the scale and visual impact of the design. The set was designed to be incorporated with the lighting truss arch, with custom made surveillance cameras. A freestanding London Underground entranceway was also created, with traditional street lights incorporated and a lightbox sign.
